Monica Henry

My entire career has been in client service roles, though I have been working in the financial sector since 2013.

In 2017, I joined PFG Advisors to directly support Brian Pitaniello. My primary responsibility is responding to any questions on existing investment and insurance accounts. So if you’re an existing client and need something changed, or have a question, be in touch with me!

What do you love best about your work?

That’s easy. The people. By that, I mean both the clients and the team here at the office. The activity in our office is very high, so there’s always something going on, lots of calls and projects to juggle. The work itself is interesting. I feel like I do something different every day. 

What are the biggest challenges you face at work?

Financial services is a field that’s constantly changing. Whether it’s the regulations or the products, I have to make sure I keep up with where the industry is going.

What does it take to be really good at what you do?

I’ve always worked in a support role, and that’s exactly what it takes to be good at this job: you need to be good at providing care to others. We strive to put great service above everything. 

What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?

The people here are truly kind. This is unique. I love coming to work to a place like PFG, surrounded by people whose company I enjoy. It takes great respect and care to assemble a group of people like this.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Football, family and baking, not necessarily in that order! Our whole family is crazy about football – high school, college and at the professional level. I have three grown children, and my eldest son is a high school football coach. Of course, we are huge Red Raiders fans.

What is a little-known fact about you?

I love to babysit!
