Paula Ray

CLIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

I handle the administrative side of our business, which includes maintaining the books, paying bills, and reminding people to make deposits. I’ll do anything I can to help anyone who needs my assistance. 


What do you love best about your work?

It’s interesting to be exposed to a really wide range of people. Being preoccupied with our own lives, we tend not to think about all the different challenges that other people face. I love hearing people’s stories, and I catch myself thinking what I would do were I to be in their shoes.


What are the biggest challenges you face at work? 

Working with one’s spouse is both great fun and can sometimes be challenging, too!


What does it take to be really good at what you do?

Organizational skills. Beyond that, it’s flexibility and being supportive.  I fill in wherever I’m needed.


What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?

I truly believe that we do what's best for the client. It makes me proud to be associated with Mickey, and this entire practice, which shows leadership by example. Everyone here puts time and consideration into their recommendations so that everything they say comes from a place of integrity.


We want to behave in a way that makes people feel very comfortable, well taken care of, and allows them to develop a sense of goodwill and loyalty toward us.


What are you passionate about outside of work?

I really love to cook. I also enjoy reading and travel. My favorite places to visit are Maui and Italy. I love so many things about Italy: the people, the language, the food, the scenery, how old everything is, the biblical history – and let’s not forget: gelato!


What is a little-known fact about you?

I’m a dog person, definitely not a cat person.
