CLU®, ChFC®, MBA, MSPFP

PARTNER & FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Paul Scioli is a recognized subject matter expert in holistic financial planning, business succession planning, and advanced estate planning issues. His particular focus stems from the fact that for many business owners, the business itself constitutes most of their net worth. As a result of the intersectionality of their business and personal finances, owners benefit from working with an advisor with a diverse set of skills and experience in this field.

“We do this work to make a difference in people’s lives,” says Paul. “Our role is to advocate for our clients: to have the crucial conversations that move them to take necessary actions in their own best interest.” Paul also has extensive experience in the areas of Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) and Supplemental Executive Retirement Benefits.

Paul holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He earned his MBA and his bachelor’s degree in finance at Texas Tech University.
He also has a master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning (MSPFP). He has served as the President of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) Agent’s Association (2003-2004), presided over local chapters of financial services industry groups, and chaired many civic committees over the years.

In 1999, Paul was instrumental in forming PFG Advisors when he and several colleagues
partnered to build a comprehensive financial planning firm unique to the Greater Lubbock
region. In 2008, Paul’s son, Chris Scioli, joined the firm. In addition to running a thriving practice
at PFG Advisors, Paul is the founder of The Scioli Group LLC, a provider of employee benefits
and business consulting*.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He and his wife, Sharon, have
seven children and ten grandchildren. They are lifelong residents of Lubbock, Texas.
