Hunter B. Pitaniello
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Hunter Pitaniello works with individuals and families who want clarity and confidence around their financial decisions, particularly those early in their careers who are laying the foundation for long-term wealth. He has extensive experience working with medical residents and young physicians in West Texas, helping them navigate the early financial decisions that can have outsized consequences over time.
Hunter also works with clients across a range of professions — including healthcare, real estate, public service, and small business — and appreciates that no two situations are the same. He approaches financial planning as a decision-making process, helping clients understand tradeoffs, risks, and priorities so their plans reflect not just their goals, but their values and real lives. He believes strong financial advice requires both empathy and sound judgment. While technical knowledge matters, Hunter emphasizes listening first and applying the right tools only when they serve a clear purpose. He works closely with experienced mentors, including his father and the partners at PFG Advisors, drawing on decades of collective experience to help clients avoid common mistakes and make thoughtful, long-term decisions.
Hunter is committed to building lasting relationships with his clients and serving them through different seasons of life. He is rooted in the West Texas community and takes a long-term view of his role — focused on trust, continuity, and being a steady presence as financial situations grow more complex over time.
Hunter graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Business Management. After graduation, he returned to Lubbock, Texas, where he joined the team at PFG Advisors.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys golfing, staying active, and spending time with his wife, Karissa, their daughter, Charlotte, and their son, Blaine. They are actively involved at Redeemer Church and value time with family and friends.
