How long have you worked with PFG Advisors?

I started in January of 2024.

Where are you from?

I was raised in a small town right outside of Lubbock called Ropesville, TX. I grew up in the country and am now living in a house with my sister right outside of Lubbock.

What does your educational and professional background look like?

I am a dual-major and plan to graduate in August of 2024 with a bachelor's in both accounting and finance, as well as a minor in political science. While at Texas Tech, I have been a part of the Scovell Business Leadership Program, student government, the finance association as well as the real estate organization. I was blessed to intern in Washington, DC, for Texas Congressman Dr. Ronny Jackson in the Spring of 2023.

It was soon after that I had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica, where my colleagues and I worked closely with Marina Pez Vela to strategically create an investment plan for the company moving forward. Texas Tech has also blessed me with many work opportunities including broadcasting at sports events for ESPN as well as working for the Big 12 as the instant replay technician.

What do you love best about your work?

The people I work with are really what makes this job so wonderful. They truly care about me as a person and help me grow both spiritually and mentally. I also really enjoy how no day is the same as the one before. The work is always different.

What does it take to be really good at what you do?

I think it takes a desire to want to learn, constantly enhancing your knowledge and working hard in every task you are given. And more than that, it is going the extra mile on different assignments and tasks, always providing more than what is asked for.

What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?

I am extremely proud of the people I work with and how they treat everyone with kindness. They are genuine in their acts and truly care about a person’s well-being before all else.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I really love to have Bible studies with my friends, spend time with my family and watch movies. I also really enjoy sports, especially Texas Tech football, basketball and baseball.

What is a little-known fact about you?

I really like to make people laugh and volunteer in the kids' ministry at church.
